Jen is a personal trainer and online coach working on Australia's beautiful Coffs Harbour coast. Originally from the UK, she and her husband emigrated to enjoy a better quality of life. Jen's passion is to inspire and educate others to pursue their strength training journey: whatever level you are starting from. Getting physically and mentally strong changed her life, and she believes it has the power to change yours too. 

Jen is happy to let you know she hasn’t always been fit; she used to smoke, drink, and eat all the wrong things. In 2006, she learnt the importance of being more considerate to herself and set about changing her exercise and eating habits to improve her mind and her body.  

 As most females do, Jen started hitting the cardio hard to lose weight. In the first five years she completed six half marathons and many more 10km races. She was a fully-fledged ‘cardio junkie’ and yes, the weight came off!

After arriving in Australia in 2018, she joined the local CrossFit box. Here she discovered the life-changing power of weight training to become a stronger, fitter version of herself. She will be the first to tell you it’s not easy: discipline and commitment are hard work. 

Qualifications

Jen’s initial career was focused on photography and education before changing to the fitness industry in 2017. She now combines her education and fitness qualifications to encourage others to enjoy the benefits of training that changed her life.

  • Level 3 Personal Training Diploma (UK qualification) and Group Fitness Instructor.

  • Bachelor of Arts in Photography

  • Professional Graduate Certificate in Education.
